Los niños han reflexionado y han tomado conciencia de lo importante que es poseer o desarrollar una actitud conciliadora y ser asertivos a la hora de resolver conflictos: hay que cooperar para evitarlos , no cooperar para crearlos.
Los niños son nuestros grandes maestros , hay que escucharlos y observarlos más.

¡FELIZ VERANO A TODOS!
El curso ha llegado a su fin, todos juntos hemos superado el "año covid", año "lleno de retos", que hemos superado con creces. Agradeceros a vosotros y vuestras familias vuestro apoyo y el haberme hecho las cosas más fáciles, porque con el año que hemos tenido vuestra cooperación ha sido muy importante para que las cosas fluyeran sin problemas. Bueno chic@s, espero que descanséis un poquito durante este puente, no podremos ir muy lejos, así que, al quedarnos en casa, tendremos todo el tiempo del mundo para leer, poner la navidad en familia, estudiar un poquito y hacer unas divisiones de matemáticas. Dying easter eggs.
MATERIALS:
*Hard boiled egg(s).
*Vinegar (plain white)
*Small plastic cups.
*Water
*Colour drops.

Steps we have followed in our classroom:
STEP 1: Bring an egg( better white) from YOUR home , don' t FORGET to boil It!!
STEP 2 : Fill containers about 1/2 to 2/3 full of water. Don´t full TOO full or when you put the eggs in it will overflow. Fill them with the mixture of water, vinegar and the dye capsule.
Protect the wardrobe´s surface by covering with a sheet of newspaper or paper towel.

STEP 3 : Put the hard boiled eggs in the cups.
STEP 4 : Carefully remove the eggs and set aside to dry.
STEP 5: Decorate your egg with different materials.

We are celebrating the PEACE day next Tuesday. Our 4th grade´s students (alumnos de 4º de primaria) have already made a huge WALLCHART about PEACEMAKERS AND PEACEBREAKERS pupils, they have written the rules that contribute to create a PEACEFUL classroom atmosphere, they have also written the bad things that take part in the classroom and produce a bad atmosphere, after that we have made a deep reflection and they have been aware about how their attitude can affect to develop a relax classroom environment .

Yesterday whole our school community participated in a run to raise money for Save the Children. It was great to see students from all levels interacting and cheering each other on in a family atmosphere.It was nice to see the students participating and doing sport for a GOOD CAUSE. The students has previously filled a sponsor form and were racing for laps, as the more they ran, the more money they obtained for the organization Save the Children.

¿Sabías que el cartel original de ‘KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON’ lo diseñó el gobierno británico al comienzo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial para que los ciudadanos mantuviesen la calma y el ánimo en caso de ataque nazi ?

Halloween es una fiesta de origen pagano que se celebra la noche del 31 de octubre, víspera del Día de Todos los Santos, y que tiene sus raíces en el antiguo festival celta conocido como Samhain, que significa "fin del verano" y se celebraba al finalizar la temporada de cosechas en Irlanda para dar comienzo al año nuevo celta, coincidiendo con el solsticio de otoño.
Durante esa noche se creía que los espíritus de los difuntos caminaban entre los vivos , y se realizaban fiestas y ritos sagrados que incluían la comunicación con los muertos.
¿Por qué se asocian las calabazas a Halloween?
Dice la leyenda que, debido a su maldad extrema, un hombre irlandés llamado Jack no mereció un lugar ni en el cielo ni en el infierno cuando murió. Su espíritu se vió obligado a vagar por el mundo implorando la entrada en uno u otro sitio. Se manifestaba portando una calabaza hueca con una vela dentro y éste fue el símbolo más representativo desde entonces de la noche de Halloween. Otro relato , por ejemplo sugiere que la calabaza adoptó semejante aspecto tétrico a causa de un castigo que una bruja impuso a Jack por negarse a preparar la sopa de Halloween. El muchacho desapareció en el interior de la calabaza y ésta adoptó rasgos semejantes al rostro humano.
